Overview
GLOW at a glance
A blend places several research peptides in one vial so that they can be reconstituted together. GLOW combines a copper-binding tripeptide (GHK-Cu), a 15-residue peptide derived from a gastric protein sequence (BPC-157) and TB-500, a peptide sold under a name that refers to thymosin beta-4. Each component has its own reference page on this site with its formula, mass and literature.
The three components are analytically very different. The GHK peptide is only 340 Da and carries copper, BPC-157 is about 1.4 kDa, and thymosin beta-4 is a 43-residue peptide of about 4.96 kDa. A single vial therefore needs three identity checks, and the chromatogram of a correct sample shows several peaks rather than one.
Vesta lists GLOW as a kit of 10 vials with 70 mg per vial. The figure 70 mg is the sum of the three declared component masses, not the amount of any one peptide.
Composition
GLOW composition
The composition below is the manufacturer's specification for one vial. Amounts are declared masses of each material; they are not measured values for a particular batch.
| Component | Declared amount per vial | Formula | Average mass (g/mol) | Monoisotopic mass (Da) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| GHK-Cu (GHK peptide component) | 50 mg | C14H24N6O4 | 340.38 | 340.1859 |
| BPC-157 | 10 mg | C62H98N16O22 | 1419.54 | 1418.7042 |
| TB-500 (thymosin beta-4) | 10 mg | C212H350N56O78S | 4963.44 | 4960.4863 |
Declared total: 70 mg of material per vial.
Expected ions by component
Use these values to look for each component in an LC-MS run of the blend. Ions are calculated from the monoisotopic masses above. See the guide to average and monoisotopic mass.
| Component | Expected m/z |
|---|---|
| GHK-Cu (GHK peptide) | [M+H]+ 341.1932 |
| BPC-157 | [M+H]+ 1419.7115 · [M+2H]2+ 710.3594 |

This is a mixture, so no single formula or molecular weight applies. The component values come from PubChem or from the verified reference pages on this site. Reference data retrieved on 2026-10-30. Compare these values with the batch certificate of analysis, using the compound identity file template.
Quality
Analytical notes for batch documents
- A single purity percentage does not describe a blend. Ask for a chromatogram on which each component peak is labelled, and for the amount of each component per vial, not only the total mass of powder.
- In a generic gradient, peaks from different components can overlap, so extracted-ion chromatograms for each expected mass are more reliable than the UV trace alone.
- The 50 mg GHK-Cu figure may refer to the copper complex or to the GHK peptide. Confirm which on the batch documents, because the copper adds roughly 60 Da to each molecule.
- Copper has two stable isotopes (63Cu and 65Cu), so the GHK-Cu species appears as a doublet in a mass spectrum, while BPC-157 and thymosin beta-4 show their own multiply charged ions.
- Solutions of copper-peptide complexes are normally blue to blue-violet. Colour alone does not prove identity, but a colourless solution would suggest that the copper is missing.
- TB-500 is used for the full thymosin beta-4 sequence and, by some sellers, for a short fragment. The mass found in the blend shows which one the vial contains.
- The molecular weight of a vial of powder includes counter-ions and water; the share of the powder that is peptide is the net peptide content.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
What is GLOW?
GLOW is a pre-mixed three-peptide research blend with 70 mg of material per vial: 50 mg GHK-Cu, 10 mg BPC-157 and 10 mg TB-500, according to the manufacturer's specification.
What is the molecular weight of GLOW?
GLOW is a mixture, so it has no single molecular weight. Its defined components have the following average molecular weights: GHK-Cu 340.38 g/mol; BPC-157 1419.54 g/mol; TB-500 (thymosin beta-4) 4963.44 g/mol.
How can I check the identity of a batch of GLOW?
Check each defined component separately: find its expected ions in the LC-MS data and confirm that its own chromatographic peak carries them. Ask for the formulation sheet, the declared amount of every ingredient and the assay used for each, and confirm that the batch code on the report matches the vial.
Which GLOW products does Vesta list?
Vesta lists 1 product for GLOW: 70 mg per vial in kits of 10 vials. Prices are shown per kit in US dollars, and shipping is paid by the customer.
What does GLOW contain?
According to the manufacturer's specification each vial contains 50 mg GHK-Cu, 10 mg BPC-157 and 10 mg TB-500, 70 mg in total. The batch certificate of analysis should confirm the identity of each component.
How is GLOW different from Klow?
Klow has the same three components in the same amounts and adds 10 mg of the tripeptide KPV, which brings the total to 80 mg per vial.
How can I check all three components in a GLOW vial?
Run LC-MS and look for each component separately: the GHK peptide at m/z 341.19 ([M+H]+) with a copper-containing species, BPC-157 at its [M+2H]2+ and [M+3H]3+ ions, and thymosin beta-4 at its higher charge states. The expected values are listed in the mass spectrometry section of this page.
